Dear scholars and researchers,
As is well known, World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13) will be held in Baku on 17–22 May 2026. World Urban Forum 13 is one of the most prestigious global urban development platforms, organized every two years by the UN-Habitat. Within the framework of the Forum, topical issues related to urban development, sustainable urbanization, housing provision, and inclusive city models are discussed.
In order to ensure the high-level organization of this significant event in our country, 2026 has been declared the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” by a relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and an associated Action Plan has been approved. This document places special emphasis on the organization of events of local and international importance at higher education institutions and research organizations, as well as on promoting scientific research and innovative approaches.
As scholars and researchers, we aim to make a scientific and innovative contribution to this global initiative by organizing an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the theme “Inclusive Ideas within the Framework of WUF13 Goals.”
Our Objective
The objective of the conference is to provide scientific and innovative support to the goals of WUF13 to be held in our country, to expand international scientific cooperation, and to contribute to the formation of new ideas in inclusive urban development.
